Cactus ?

cactus, plant that does not require much attention

water, when you feel like

trimming shrubs, is not even necessary

fertilizing? nay, it's a desert plant!

often, easily taken granted

often, handle with less or no care labelled.

thorns, sign of danger 

often, overseen and taken granted

after some time.

only given attention 

when wounded.

recognize,

being late is better than never.

What you have been looking at all these while

might not be real.

The one whom you think you know and understand

might not be real.

To unmask or not to unmask,

that's the question.

uncertain, again.

afraid to have taken the wrong path.

torn between two most dreamt about destinations.

neither, wanted to be given up.

in desperate need of guidance,

for its importance and unbearable impact

to the totally diverged future of each path.

trapped in this game of gamble,

namely, gamble of life.

wish what have been thrown into the game table

would gain more than the lost.
